For Physicians
We have an excellent reputation with referring physicians. Employees tend to stay with us for a long time, so the receptionists and technologists get to know the patients, which makes them more comfortable. We are considered by many to be best in Cochise County, good enough that physicians from Tucson and Phoenix don’t hesitate to send patients to us for their imaging procedures instead of having them done in the big city.
All of our diagnostic imaging studies are performed using electronic image capture, and are interpreted at a sophisticated PACS workstation. The radiologists' reports are dictated into the radiology information system, and are available electronically. Using voice recognition technology, many of the reports are available to you by the time the patient leaves the office.
Our DR systems PACS includes a product for referring physicians known as Web Ambassador. The Web Ambassador is easy to use software which allows the referring physician to confidentially review patient exams via the internet by accessing the Sierra Vista Diagnostics web server. For each exam, referring physicians can review DICOM images, a report, and a recorded audio conclusion. The Web Ambassador software application can be installed in a few minutes by our staff on any internet connected PC in your office. You can customize the application to automatically retrieve to your office computer images, written reports, and audio clips of the radiologist's impression on examinations your patients have at Sierra Vista Diagnostics. The interval at which your computer retrieves these items can be set to an interval of your choosing. After installation, our staff can quickly and easily show you how to use the software.
